We all want to have clients that love us and will share glowing recommendations with their friends and family.  However, far too many of us miss a crucial opportunity to connect with our clients, and we wait until the wedding day to make a lasting impression on our clients.  Taking full advantage of a pre-wedding day shoot is one of the best ways we can win our client’s loyalty. 

In our business, we place a lot of emphasis on engagement sessions and we include them as a standard item in every wedding package we offer.  Below are a few reasons to consider making these a bigger part of your business and your brand.

You get to control the environment. 
Unlike weddings where we are more or less restricted by schedule and locations, engagement shoots allow us to take creative control - we can choose the location, as well as the timing of the session.  Usually, we opt to start shooting about an hour before sunset in order to have the best light.
