I saw an interesting shot that someone shared. You may want to add it to your Weddings. Click on this site, scan down to the last picture #6, which are two rings standing on end and backlit to cast a shadow of 2 harts.

I have to agree, i love the effect created by the backlight. This is indeed a clever use of the rings to cast the heart shapes. Sentimental.
