I have been struggling with the amount of time I spend between photography, Nikon Capture, Lightroom, Photoshop, Photdex and now more recently web enabling, graphics software (Fash, Dreamweaver etc). So eventually, it feels like I am All Over the Place and my time is spread too thin. It is time to STOP The Madness!! I looked at purchasing some very professional web site tools with slideshows. Very Pricey. However, there is an understanding that you already are familiar with Flash, Dreamweaver type software to edit and update your site pages. HMMmmm! I don't need another package that further pulls me away from what should be my focus, photography & editing software to optimize the shots. This is where a young assistant with graphic skills would be so helpful. I suppose it is a generation thing, since it is 2nd nature to them. So someday I will slowly gain enough skill to play with web software but for today; I have settled to simply use Picturetrail to provide some Pzzasss to my gallery. I think the features are particularly of interest to the younger set and potential Wedding clients. So depending on your audience and/or need to change-out your gallery slideshow experience, you might want to try some free software at
http://www.picturetrail.com/ or similiar sites.
The only problem is that when you post the html on your site, it does come with a small advertisement banner for "picturetrail" that could tempt your visitor to explore & leave your site. If you have other ideas that work for you, I am all ears. I just can't wrestel with all the web software
and be the master of none. Sorry for the diatribe.

Cheers! Paul
