I agree with Robert the Splash screen is not neccessary unless you are using it for the purpose of Search Engine Optimization which when developing flash sites is very helpful to have since the search engines don't do such a great job of indexing flash websites.

Hi Rick,

I like you images. You seem to have real ability for the journalistic style of wedding photography. It seems that journalistic wedding photography has taken over the world. Oops, that's editorializing, isn't it, sorry 'bout that.

However, I do not like the website, sorry. I am a busy person and as such I do not like websites that have flash like transitions. It is too slow and I prefer to get to the point and see what I want to see. IMHO sites like these should be preserved for DVD or CD sales and or perhaps for in studio presentations.

What I prefer are simple portfolio pages that have medium to large sized thumbnail images that I can either click on to view larger sizes or that I can at my discretion run a simple slide show presentation which can be stopped on specific images for detail viewing if I see something I like.

Also, I'd like to see a few traditional images thrown in of the bride, groom and family. Maybe they were there but the transitions held my attention more than the actual images.

Again, this is just my personal preference.

Stan, thanks for your input as you make a great point about what other areas of photography I do. I am going to rework that as well as decide how I need to address the pricing issue. I'm not sure I want to publish prices, however, I don't need to seem vague either. As for the Enter Page I don't know if I can change that as it is a template design from Bludomain.com and they don't like making custom changes. Thanks again for your help.

Robert, your comments were very helpful - thank you. Since I have set up the website I have shot about 5 other weddings and some additional portrait work as well. My goal over the next few weeks is to update the images and get rid of the mutilple images of the same person. I also am going to look into what it would take to drop the Enter Page. Thanks again.
