Are you looking for a little creative exercise to get you out taking photographs (while keeping you close to home)? I know I was and recently started doing a simple little exercise I call the Photo Walkabout. To do it, I simply took a Canon 5d m2, a 50mm f1.2L and a 8 gb Lexar CF card and headed out the back door. Every image was made with available light, too. I just walked around our home, our neighborhood and tried to make what I considered to be interesting photographs of whatever came up. There was no agenda or set goal about what I would see or photograph, simply that I would just go out and see the world and frame it with a camera.
