I guess the topic of this month's piece is pretty important because I ran a search for 'sharpen' on the PPR forum after writing it and found an article by Nick Coury citing the same fable! With all due respect to Nick, here is my version: The title of this month’s entry comes from a fable told to me by my good friend Max Brunk. Unfortunately I do not know who the original story teller is, but it sounds like a tale that has been told many times. The version that I remember goes something like this:
