Stephen, get IOpener. It will allow you to do a lot, among others:
- Save multiple files from one image, say a 5x7 proof, a web optimized image and a full size image for print
- Execute one or more actions for each file you want to save
- Override save dialogs, specifying .jpg quality settings etc
- Batch process a folder of images, executing actions - possible lots of actions, creating save folders and saving multiple versions
When you are done with a series of shots, import them into a folder and let Photoshop/IOpener handle them in batch mode while you work on the next session.
Many of the girls I take photograph wants images that are suitable for the web (Friendster) and supplying a resized image, framed and with a vignette really enhances the image and makes the girl happy.
They want to select the images for print and then go straight home and upload the images after the session, sending links to their friends.
