Strobist has posted an article about One-Minute Lighting Tip: Lighting on Two Planes, great reading. I did try to do the same, but then only with one flash, Canon 580 EX II. And I came up with this:

Thanks Jess, ggivensjr I used a plexiglass with black paper under the glass. On top is mineral water so I've got some bubbles.
