H-Lite Background with SB600 9 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Picked up a Lastolite 6x7 foot H-Lite backdrop yesterday, so after shoveling the drive & before anyone could escape to school, I got my 1st shots. (Feb is not a fun shoot month in Philadelphia but a new toy always sparks my interest at the families expense.) The pop up was easy to assemble, once the pups stopped barking at it. Here’s the set up: D300, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, ISO 400, sp 60, f/5.6, on camera flash SB800 (ITTL) set for ceiling bounce, one slave SB600 on light stand stuck in the side aimed at the back for even bounce forward. So in a pinch, can I get away with one light or do we need the 2nd light on the other side? Victims are between 2” – 18” in front of H-Lite. Would this work with a bride? Your Pro/Con Feedback is appreciated. Anyone seen the pups? Paul http://www.flickr.com/photos/bulmanp/sets/72157603902689484/show/
