Ok i decided to try something a little different the other day and I think it turned out kind of cool. I took my laptop and my 5D out to Montano De Oro State Park and shot a time lapse of the sunset.

This quicktime consists of about 300 images shot in 5 second intervals over the course of about an hour. Upon completion they went through a quick edit in Lightroom and then opened up in Quicktime Pro to create the movie.

Let me know what you all think.

Cris, what program do you need to open and view your movie? I clicked the link and got a "What do you want to do with this" message. It's a .mov, which I've never heard of...

Hey Stan,
It's just a quicktime file all you need is to have quicktime installed on your computer to see it.

It does take a minute or so to load depending on your connection to the internet.

Great job Chris!

Looks like you let the meter change exposure throughout. I wanted to see it go into night. I guess you will have to stay longer next time!!!!!!

Hey Marc,
I did use AV and ironically it was pretty much dark when i finished up

I've got to get out and do another one in manaul to let it end in darkness.
