Hi Cris,
This is a beautiful portrait. I love the eye contact and the smooth non-specular look of her skin. I also love the sharpness in the guitar bridge as it is obviously a secondary subject. Did you use a Chimera Light Bank for the hairlight? I know you didn't place this image here for critique but I'd like to get your feedback on a couple things I noticed in the image.
For some reason I think it takes a little away from the image that I can see the light modifier in the sunglasses. That obviously doesn't bother you but did you give it any consideration at all?
Another element in the portrait that stands out is the hiairlight. I have a tendancy not to like hairlights in the top of the head for portraits that are done inside. It doesn't look natural to me. I prefer a hairlight that come from the back and lights the side of the hair. Is there a specific reason you placed the hairlight where you did?
Again I know you didn't put the image here for a critique and as I said it is a beautiful portrait full of character that possibly says a lot about the subject. I am just taking this opportunity to try to learn why you lit it the way you did.
Happy Holidays.
George

Robert,
You can't upload to the forum directly but you can link to an image that is on your webserver or in something like a Pbase account.
You can also upload an image into the photo gallery on this site and then link to that photo with the insert image button. What you'll need to do is upload to the gallery and then Right Click on your image and say View Image in your browser, this will give you the direct url to the image itself then you can copy and paste that url in the Insert Image tool.

Let me know if that helps or not.
Larry thanks for the kudo's on the portrait, it is one of my favorites.
Cris...
