Seeking suggestions on labs that are offering this.

The forum guidelines say this is lab neurtral site so, not looking for endorsements per se. Only looking for labs that offer the paper.

Thanks,
-Ryan

Ryan,

We are using Metallic now, but have been testing Pearl the last few weeks. We intend to make the change very soon, there are some real benefits. More durable surface, will last longer in albums and just as beautiful. No date on when we will switch, but you can check up at http://www.buckeyecolor.com Nick

ColorInc.com uses the Fuji Pearl. I like this paper. Just be careful the images have good contrast and very few or no blown out spots. Like all metallic type papers, blown highlights tend to look muddy, although the Fuji paper handles it much better than the Kodak. Fuji has a wider tonal range, which is nice.

By the way, the pearl paper looks fantastic used on toned B&W. And it's quite glossy, so unless you need a texture on smaller prints for copyright protection, skip any extra coatings. And if you do need to use a texture, pebble works best on it. Linen and Embassy are too strong and take away the pearly quality and depth.
