I have a new 9800 printer. Yikes. So. I know its a loaded question but do I really need IP? I've read many varying opinions on web forums from 'you have to have it' to 'don't be jerk and spend that kind of money on something you don't need'. Its alot of money and comes with a pretty strict and expensive upgrade/support policy. But....the Phatte Black seems to be the cats meow for this printer. Not sure what I'm going to do about switching out inks. Not looking forward to dumping $75 worth each time and I don't want to limit myself to one black.

Like anything there are those who purchase just to have it and there are those who will use it in a way that it will not only save money but help your printing be a profit center.
