I was browsing a recent sales catalog from Calumet Photo and noticed an offer a complete set of 220ml inks (not Epson) for the Epson 4800 with a first time purchase offer of about $275 for the set of 8 cartriges. Has anyone tried these inks in their own studios. I typically print on Brilliant Supreme Lustre and Epson Premium/Ultra Luster and was wondering if anyone had tried the inks with either of these papers.

I saw this as well and am curious to hear if anyone is using them and what kind of results they are getting. The price is definitely a little more tolerable.

Calumet is one of our largest resellers and therefore we took a close look at the inks and made a few profiles on the Briliant papers for ImagePrint. The quality was very good. We didn't have any issues b/w or color. If you want more detailed information you should contact Ed Meyers at Calumet.

So...what inks are you all talking about? I don't see any Calumet brand inks for sale on their website.

Looks like someone may have gotten their feathers ruffled over Calumet branding replacement inks. I was asked not to go into details. If anyone has any questions regarding them you should just contact Calumet.
