I have studied this to death but I still can't make a decision. Guys...tell me which printer to buy. I don't do enough printing to justify an Epson 4400 and thought that the HP8190 would be the printer to buy. I just discovered that the HP does not support roll papper, should this be a deciding factor? The Epson 2400 has the roll paper adapter but I heard it is kind of flimsy and I hate the thought of all the wasted ink when switching between blacks.

I feel like this message should have gone to Ask Ann. Help me make up my mind! :confused:

Well, if you don't do enough printing to "justify" buying an Epson 4400, then does it matter if you can't use roll paper?

Personally, I'm completely sold on Epson printers. I have a 4000 and I love it! The pigmented Ultrachrome inks have fantastic colorfastness, and the print quality is tops. While the smaller Epson printers do a fantastic job, most use their dye base inks, which have a much less colorfast rating.

I dunno if this helps...but that's my 2 cents.
