Aloha all! (I tried to attach the image but it was too big, so then I couldn't delete the 1st post...that's why the duplicate...)
Japan has a Peace Day they celebrate annually, and this year Hawaii decided to join the party. So a few weeks ago the State announced a contest for artists to enter works to be considered for representing Hawaii's Peace Day. I entered my piece, "Duke's Natatorium" that I created earlier this year.

I was notified this morning by the governor's office that the piece won in the technology division. Just wanted to share, as it was the first such competition I ever entered.
