Hello all and Merry Christmas.

I didn't know where to post this question, I received an email from an ad agency in UK that a customer of them wanted an image of a wedding I took for a billboard in London. (I live in Mexico) I first thought it was a scam but they returned the email with the description of the image so they want to know how much will I charge them for 6 months on a billboard.

I searched the web but I only found a snapshot from a software for photographers who sell stock images online and in the snapshot it said $1,650 dlls retail price for 6 months on a billboard.

Do any of you know how much to charge?

Fotoquote is a terrific software for pricing quidelines. It has suggestions for everything from billboards to coffee mugs. It's also legal!! You might to log into some of the big stock houses [Royalty Managed--NOT Royalty Free or Micro-stock] like Getty or Corbis to get an idea of some rates.

Fotoquote is AWESOME! and well worth the money, you'll make up the cost of the software in what you'll save not misquoting the job. What i like about it is that it gives you a range from low to high so you based upon your market and client you can adjust accordingly. You can also create and print quotes directly from the program plus alot more which i won't go into detail on.

The only thing i'm a little in the dark about is how often they update their database? Do you know Steve?

I think I'm going to buy it and start making a web gallery for stock images. There is one webpage which is coming live in January, maybe you guys already know about. I've already uploaded some images as an advisory board member.
