Hi,

I'd really like to see this forum take off and become a good resource for those who like to take pictures of children.

I'm going to post another picture which was taken at a wedding last summer. This little flower girl was dancing her heart out at the reception and stopped to watch the bride for a second when I took this picture. The only light came from the DJ's colored lights which were flashing on and off and changing colors. No flash was used.

I still haven't figured out how to use the insert image ikon. When I click on it, nothing happens. I tried using the attach files choice below, also without success. I'd really like to see the image open in this window instead of having to link you to another viewing site.

Thanks for looking,
Jim

Stan,

Thanks for looking at my photos. I enjoyed seeing yours but wish I could see larger versions. The file size restrictions on directly attached photos is very limiting. I think I prefer linking from pbase so that the pictures can be a larger size.

I find that since I got my 5D I have almost discarded my flash equipment. I am not hesitant to use 1600 ISO, although I limit myself to 800 ISO on my XTi backup camera. I love the look I get using whatever light is there and the digital noise certainly hasn't been objectionable as long as I don't underexpose. I shoot RAW and convert my files in Bibble Pro. My customers seem to like the look I get as well. I have a number of 1600 ISO no flash pictures on my web site. Check out the wedding section. jhjphoto.com

Aloha Jim!

Yeah, I agree about the limited size in here...and Wes just posted one IN HIS POST...Nice big one too! I just don't get the programing and have no desire to spend the time going through multi tasks to get an image posted here....Wish Cris would do something about this amd make it easier for us puter dummies!
