Hi,
Will this be a place where we can post our pictures for comments and critiques? If so, what is the posting process?

Aloha JH!

Yes, you can post images here for critique...

Someone who knows how to get larger images on here please explain how to do it...I know you can post little pics in the threads, but there is a way to get larger images on here too, I just don't know how...

I passed this by Cris and this is what he said....

"It's not a problem to post images in the forums as long as they are tasteful.

They can either put them on their own server and link to them or upload them directly to PPR either in the forum or in the Member Gallery.

I hope this answers your question.

Cris..."

Hi,
I'm going to try linking a picture which I took several weeks ago of my grand daughter. Any comments?

Is there any way to get the photo to open up automatically in this window the way DPreview can do it?

Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,
If you click the little icon in the toolbar that looks like a mountain and sun
then enter the url to your picture it will display in the forum post.

Aloha Jim!

Very nice portrait of Drew! Hard to believe it was shot at 1600 ISO! Also hard to believe that at 148mm, even at f2.8 the far side of her face goes that far out of focus! If there's anything I don't like about it, it's that her far eye is blury. It has a real nice soft look though, and is a very good portrait.
