Hello, I am shooting with the 40d and was wondering if having the highlight tone priority on effects the raw files or is it only the jpg files that are effected? thanks,

i'm not terribly familiar with that highlight tone priority function but based upon a quick google search it appears that it does affect both Raw and JPG. Maybe we can get Chris Grey to chime in here who has spent some time putting that camera through it's paces. Cris...
