Back button focus for 40D 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Hi Gang,
I use back button focus for my 5D but can't find how to set the same function on my 40D. ANy suggestions?

I found this on another forum, i hope it helps.

The 40D is much more confusing to do this compared to a 1DII or 20/30D. My settings are as follows:
C.Fn IV: Operations/Others -
C.Fn 1 with a setting of 3: AE lock/Metering +AF Start
C.Fn 2 with a setting of 1

The AF-On button on the back of the Camera is Back-focus! Cool, huh?
