In a living -room 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Yesterday I spend the evening in my clients living-room to take some photographs of his creations, jewelleries and ornaments. I used two Canon Speedlite 580EX II as main, and two Speedlites as rimlight (one placed at floor behind of the model, and one on my camera right). Camera left silver reflector, and camera right a white reflector, and in front of the model my client hold a silver reflector.

The photo below is straight out from the camera.

What is so wonderful with this setup and studio is that its so easy and it fits into three bags.

What do you think about the result?

All my best

Robert

Robert,
Isn't it great what you can do with this little portable flashes.

This shot is really nice, a couple things come to mind for me however

1. Her left hands seems a little awkward for my personal taste

2. Her Black dress merges tonally into the background, might be my monitor but i'd like to see a hint of separation here so she doesn't look like a floating torso

Other than that Well Done!!! I'm sure others may agree or respectfully disagree with my observations

Thanks for the suggestions, they are great, and I agree, I should have had more light on her dress, the separation is not there, because I aimed the light towards the face and i used a gobo on the light to right. And it looks like the floor light didn't have any effect.
