Anyone here using a gray card for interiors? If so, do you have any pointers for its use in a mixed light situation, especially when using strobe to supplement the ambient?

I use it for studio type shots, especially to measure the light temperature of a new modifier.

For interior shots, you may not want the clinically correct white balance, but it is a good starting point.

I use CTO 1/2 or 1/4 gels on my Speedlites or strobes for matching flash to ambient (tungsten) - or warm, evening light, luckily I have not had to balance to fluorescent yet...

Regards
Michael
