Hello and welcome to the new Lightroom Forum. Please feel free to ask all your Lightroom related questions in here, as well as any questions the monthly Lightroom Video Tutorials may bring up.

I look forward to your participation.

Sincerely,
Cris Mitchell

Can you tell me why the histigram in lightroom says everything is in no blown highlights or blocked shadows but when the image is thenexported into photoshop on many occasions one of the colour Red Green or Blue has either blocked shadow detail or blown highlight detail.Which histogram is telling the truth.Camera used Nikon D70.

fstopman,
Try downloading the new Version 1.1 of Lightroom and see if you are still having the same problem. I know they've upgraded the RAW engine and a whole slew of other things.

Let me know if this issue has gone away after the upgrade, it's free and well worth it.

Cris...

Hi Cris,

Is anyone else having a problem downloading photos directly from the chip to hard drive via Lightroom? I've been using Lightroom to copy the photos to their new location on the hard drive and when downloading from large chips...with 400 or so RAW images, it always tanks before completing the task.

Just interested to know what your experience has been. Perhaps I should go back to downloading them via explorer and then importing them in place.

Anyway, loving Lightroom but aggravated by this little problem.
