I did a very interesting photo session last week I must share.  I believe it is very important to network with other professionals in our  community and in keeping with this philosophy, I've been networking with a local hair salon on their displays, website etc.  We have  developed a terrific relationship and each hair designer (and there are 12 of them) recommends my studio.

This past week we photographed each of the members of the team for their website.  What a terrific thing!  I had just too much fun, each of the designers gave me their personal best and all of us came away with some very creative imagery.  I choose to use a single light source (a Lowell ID Video Light) because it would be easy to use, fast and would create the dramatic lighting necessary for this cutting edge studio.  I used the Canon 50mm 1.2 lense close to wide open, and selected interesting backgrounds that would create interesting texture in the background.

One more thing,  I want to announce that I am starting an exciting web based educational school on January 1, 2008.  I will be conducting online courses every Monday for 90 days, and each class will be live! We will be showing live video demonstrations featuring great posing, lighting, and marketing ideas. This exciting program will be very interactive, and students will have the ability to share their images live with other  students.

A different topic will be discussed each week and each course will be open to only 10 students to keep the educational experience the best.  Look for further details in the coming weeks.
